Alicia Heart, an unemployed disabled biracial person, is facing eviction as of October 15 and has launched an emergency fundraising appeal for $3,880 to cover rent owed to her landlord and related housing costs. She is asking for direct donations via PayPal, reporting that nothing has been raised so far. The appeal is being shared within mutual aid circles, where users circulate urgent housing and rent fundraisers.
Why now: The eviction deadline of October 15 makes this an urgent mutual aid appeal being boosted to reach donors quickly.
