'Artemis Fowl' Getting Animated TV Adaptation at Disney
Original: ‘Artemis Fowl’ Lands Animated TV Adaptation at Disney
Disney is developing an animated television adaptation of 'Artemis Fowl', Eoin Colfer's bestselling fantasy book series about a teenage criminal mastermind. The move follows the poorly received 2020 Disney+ film version, and fans of the books are watching closely to see whether the new series will stay more faithful to the source material.
Why now: The original 2020 film was widely criticized, so news of a second screen adaptation is drawing attention and debate among fans.
