Quilter assembles third quarter of 2026 book quilt top
Original: The third quarter of my 2026 book #quilt top is assembled. I am not a perfectionist or an expert sewist, and I'm not buy
A quilter has finished assembling the third quarter of a quilt top themed around books, planned for 2026. She describes herself as neither a perfectionist nor an expert sewist, and says she is deliberately using only supplies she already has, embracing the handmade, wonky result. The design incorporates book motifs, shown in a second image, as part of a slow, stash-based project.
Why now: Quilting communities enjoy following long-running themed projects and stash-busting challenges
Evidence
- The third quarter of my 2026 book #quilt top is assembled. I am not a perfectionist or an expert sewist, and I'm not buying any supplies for this; it's exactly as handmade and wonky as I want it to be.
