Commanders criticised for bizarre late-game play call
Original: 🏈 #NFL The Commanders would have won the game with a Field Goal. And then this happened ... I was sitting there thinking
Washington Commanders fans are venting after the team seemingly passed on a routine field goal that would have won the game. Instead of spiking the ball and setting up the kick, the offence ran a different play, a decision being called one of the dopiest play calls in a long time. The loss has reignited criticism of the team's late-game management.
Why now: A baffling late-game decision cost the Commanders a winnable game, prompting fan frustration.
