Original: Karl-Anthony Towns on Knicks tabling player extensions: ‘It was news to me’
Karl-Anthony Towns said he learned from outside sources that the New York Knicks had tabled discussions over player contract extensions, telling reporters it 'was news to me'. The comments raise questions about communication between the star center and the franchise's front office heading into the season.
