Fast & Furious TV series in development at Peacock
Original: A ‘Fast & Furious’ TV series is in the works at Peacock
Peacock is developing a television series based on the Fast & Furious franchise, extending the street-racing action brand beyond its film series. Reports from Time Out and Yahoo confirmed the project is in the works, though no cast, story details, or release date have been announced yet. Fans are speculating about how the films' high-octane car culture will translate to episodic television.
Why now: The Fast & Furious franchise is one of the biggest film series in the world, so news of a TV expansion is major entertainment news.
