Social media users, largely on German-language Mastodon, are sharing posts condemning Donald Trump and the MAGA movement over their position on the war in Ukraine. The posts pair pro-Ukraine slogans like 'Slava Ukraini' with accusations of fascism against Trump and the Republican Party, and tag prominent US politicians including JD Vance, Chuck Schumer and Gavin Newsom.
Why now: Ongoing debate over US policy toward Ukraine and Trump's approach to the war is drawing sharp criticism from pro-Ukraine voices.
