A call to rehabilitate the American South
Original: You are going to have to rehabilitate the South https:// subspacewagon.systems/you-are- going-to-have-to-rehabilitate-th
A new piece of writing titled 'You are going to have to rehabilitate the South' argues that the American South needs moral and social repair rather than dismissal. The author, sharing the work with poetry and writing communities and tagged as a disabled artist, frames the region's rehabilitation as a shared obligation. Readers in literary circles are passing it around and discussing what rebuilding the South would actually require.
Why now: The piece is being shared among poetry and writing communities as a provocative argument about regional responsibility and repair in the United States.
