Original: 🚨"They SHOT 50 Rounds at a CHURCH" - MN Sheriff REFUSES to Sugarcoat, Going After Somali Gangs
A Minnesota sheriff is speaking bluntly about a shooting in which around 50 rounds were fired at a church, and is pledging a firm response to gangs he associates with the Somali community. The sheriff's refusal to 'sugarcoat' the issue and his targeting of Somali gangs has drawn significant attention, with many reacting to both the shooting itself and the confrontational law enforcement rhetoric surrounding it.
Why now: The dramatic shooting at a church and the sheriff's blunt, controversial framing of Somali gangs are driving heated public discussion.
