Hundreds Gather Classic Cars on Town Hall Lawn
Original: ‘I See Art’: Hundreds Pull Classic Cars onto Town Hall Lawn
Hundreds of classic cars were parked across the town hall lawn in Swampscott, Massachusetts, in an event organisers framed as public art, titled 'I See Art'. Owners displayed vintage vehicles for visitors walking the grounds, turning an ordinary municipal green into a rolling exhibition and prompting residents to debate whether a car show can count as sculpture.
Why now: The unusual spectacle of classic cars filling a town hall lawn drew local attention and curiosity about the art framing.
