Ukraine has imposed a ban on Yandex bots "by firepower," according to a widely shared post, which says traffic from the Russian search engine's crawlers is now close to zero on Cloudflare Radar. The author is testing whether engagement on their account comes from real people or from automated Russian accounts, expecting any remaining bot activity to surface. The claim of Yandex crawler traffic collapsing is attributed to public Cloudflare data, though the method and scale of Ukraine's action are not detailed.

Why now: Claimed near-total disappearance of Yandex bot traffic due to Ukrainian military action is striking and verifiable via Cloudflare Radar.
