Users compare post length limits across Mastodon book communities
Original: Does anyone know what the post size limit is on Bookstodon? The length limit on social.vivaldi.net is, well, pretty limi
A user of the Vivaldi-hosted Mastodon server is asking what the character limit is on the Bookstodon instance, complaining that their own server's post length cap feels restrictive. The question highlights a common frustration on Mastodon, where different servers set different character limits, pushing users to seek out instances with more generous caps for longer writing about books.
Why now: Mastodon users frequently compare server-specific character limits when looking to move or post longer content.
