The design reimagines the beloved postwar 'deux chevaux' for the electric era, and the low price point is drawing attention as affordable EVs remain rare. Commenters are debating whether the charm of the original can carry over to a modern budget electric vehicle.

Why now: News of a beloved classic being revived as a cheap electric car is generating nostalgia and interest in affordable EVs.
