An artist is on day 12 of an Ink-Birdtober challenge, posting a daily ink drawing of a bird species throughout October. The latest piece depicts a sharp-shinned hawk, based on a Wikimedia Commons photograph by ewransky, credited under a CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. The series combines the popular Inktober drawing prompt with bird-themed art.
Why now: October is Inktober month, when artists share daily ink drawings online and follow each other's challenges.
