January 6 Committee Star Witness Reportedly Faces Jail Time
Original: REVENGE: January 6th ‘Star Witness’ About to be JAILED for Trump Hoax, Lying To Congress 💥
Commentators are claiming that a key January 6th committee witness is about to be jailed for allegedly lying to Congress in testimony about Donald Trump. The story is being pushed heavily by pro-Trump commentators framing any prosecution as revenge for the committee's hearings. No official charging documents or court action are cited in the claims, so the actual legal status of the witness remains unverified.
Why now: Supporters of Trump are amplifying claims of retribution against the January 6 committee witnesses amid ongoing debates over prosecutorial accountability.
