Russia's Plague Scare and America's Sinkholes Ruin Kosta's Quarantine Plans
Original: Russia's Plague Scare and America's Sinkholes Ruin Kosta’s Quarantine Plans | The Daily Show
The Daily Show's Michael Kosta has been weighing in on a plague scare in Russia and a series of sinkholes opening up in the United States, joking that both stories have ruined his plans to stay in quarantine and avoid the news. The satirical segment pairs the two outbreaks of chaos as fresh headaches for a world already dealing with a pandemic.
Why now: Audiences are following late-night satire as new plague and sinkhole stories pile onto pandemic-era anxieties.
