Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for an investigation into the sources behind NAZA, an award-winning documentary on Gaza. The film draws on 24 anonymous Israeli sources who accuse the military of wrongdoing during the war. Critics view the demand as an attempt to discredit the film and intimidate whistleblowers, while supporters argue accountability over the sources' claims is warranted.
Why now: The film's award recognition and its serious accusations from anonymous Israeli military sources have made Netanyahu's response a flashpoint in the debate over the Gaza war.
