Original: Why hasn't SpaceX, worth $2T, paid this Bay Area chef the $70K it owes him? https://www.sfchronicle.com/food/restaurants
A Bay Area chef is publicly pressing SpaceX over an unpaid bill of roughly $70,000 tied to his work with the company, despite SpaceX being valued at around $2 trillion. The dispute, reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, has drawn attention for the contrast between the company's enormous valuation and the small, outstanding payment to a local food business.
Why now: The contrast between SpaceX's massive valuation and its alleged failure to pay a small vendor a modest bill is drawing attention.
