Plan to convert Van Morrison's former primary school delayed

Original: school delays

Plans to convert Van Morrison's former primary school in Belfast into a special school have been delayed, the BBC reports. The conversion, intended to expand special education places, will now take longer than expected, with no firm timetable confirmed. Local parents awaiting special school provision are likely watching the delay closely.

Why now: A delay to a planned special school conversion affects families waiting for special education places.
