Resellers push used PS5 Pro price to $1,400
Original: sony playstation ps5 pro
Sony's PS5 Pro, which carries a recommended retail price of around $900, is being sold used at GameStop and through third-party resellers for as much as $1,400 — a $500 markup. Coverage from outlets such as IGN is drawing attention to tight availability and persistent resale inflation around the upgraded console, with gamers voicing frustration at paying well above list price.
Why now: Resellers are marking up the hard-to-find PS5 Pro far above Sony's recommended price, angering buyers.
