Bradford 12 Documentary 'Rebellion' Spotlights Anti-Migrant Narrative
Original: ‘Rebellion’: Why the Bradford 12 Doc Is So Timely and Its Directors Want People to Know “Your Problems Are Created by Elon Musk, Not Migrants”
The directors of 'Rebellion', a new documentary about the Bradford 12, say the film is especially timely given current debates on immigration. They argue that public anger is being misdirected, telling audiences that problems are created by billionaires like Elon Musk rather than by migrants, as the film links its historical subject to today's political climate.
Why now: The documentary's message directly challenges prominent anti-immigration rhetoric tied to figures like Elon Musk, making it resonate in current political debates.
