Migration debate erupts over Turin footage and Meloni criticism
Original: This is Turin, Italy. These are not Italians. This is Giorgia Meloni's legacy.
A claim circulating on social media shows footage of Turin, Italy, asserting the people shown are not Italians and calling the scene 'Giorgia Meloni's legacy'. The post frames the Italian Prime Minister as failing on migration despite her hard-line pledges, and has drawn significant engagement from users debating immigration and national identity.
Why now: Immigration remains a flashpoint in Italian politics and the post directly challenges Meloni's signature tough-on-migration record.
