Rahul Gandhi attacks Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar

Original: ವಾರ್ತೆ

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has spoken publicly about his fight against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, describing the situation as 'Shiva's tandav' — a reference to a destructive cosmic dance. The remarks, reported by Kannada daily Prajavani, come amid the opposition party's escalating campaign against the Election Commission of India over claims of voter roll irregularities.

Why now: Gandhi's sharp rhetoric against the election chief is fuelling ongoing political tension between the Congress and the Election Commission.
