Swansea firms to test robots before buying at new hub
Original: SA1: Swansea firms will be able to try out robots before they buy, at a new university hub Businesses across south Wales
A new robotics hub in Swansea's SA1 waterfront area will let businesses across south Wales trial robots and automation equipment before committing to a purchase. The facility is being developed by the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, giving smaller firms a chance to test technology that could otherwise be a costly gamble.
Why now: The launch of a try-before-you-buy robotics hub is new and relevant to local manufacturers weighing up automation investment.
