New theory links gravity to hidden information in the Universe
Original: What if gravity is connected to the hidden information inside the Universe?
A physics proposal suggests gravity may be connected to hidden information encoded within the Universe, rather than acting as a purely geometric force. The idea ties into ongoing debates about whether spacetime and gravity emerge from deeper quantum information, a question researchers have pursued in quantum gravity and holographic theories. The claim is drawing attention as a thought-provoking take on one of physics' biggest unsolved problems.
Why now: It touches the open question of quantum gravity, a topic that fascinates both scientists and the public
