Original: @ classicalmusic One minute symphony, "Twee" Jim van der Steege Symfonie nr.3, op.44 in a kl.t. Sergej Rachmaninov Mishi

A classical music sharing community is highlighting a programme that pairs Jim van der Steege's one-minute symphony "Twee" with Rachmaninov's Symphony No. 3 in A minor, op. 44, a four-hands arrangement of Mishima, and Philip Glass's Piano Concerto No. 2 "Stokes", performed by pianist Maki Namekawa with arranger Michael Riesman and conductor Dennis Russell Davies. Listeners are discussing the unusual mix of short new work and late-Romantic repertoire.
