Federal agents search home of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
Original: Total BS. This woman has been scrutinized her entire career & long before that. If she’d ever put a toe out of line, it
Federal agents searched the Minnesota home of Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar on Monday as part of what was described as a criminal matter. Critics are pushing back hard on the action, arguing that Omar has faced intense scrutiny throughout her entire career and that if she had ever stepped out of line, it would not have taken these agencies to find it. Supporters view the search as politically motivated.
Why now: News of a criminal search at a sitting congresswoman's home is drawing immediate debate over whether it is legitimate law enforcement or political targeting.
