US school book bans now include Attack on Titan

Original: 巨人

Reports in Chinese-language media say the wave of book bans in United States schools has expanded to include Japanese manga, with 'Attack on Titan' and 'Inuyasha' among more than 10,000 titles removed from school shelves. The coverage, picked up by outlets in Malaysia and overseas Chinese communities, highlights how US content restrictions are reaching internationally popular comics.

Why now: The inclusion of globally popular manga in US school book bans is surprising to international readers.
