Young crypto investor fights off armed robbers in southern France
Original: agression
A 22-year-old crypto holder in the Tarn department was attacked and robbed at night, but managed to scare off his assailants and then sold all his crypto holdings. The incident, reported by Journal du Coin, highlights the growing risk of physical attacks targeting cryptocurrency owners in France, as criminals increasingly target holders directly rather than digital wallets.
Why now: A violent home invasion-style robbery linked to crypto wealth in France taps into rising fears about the physical security of crypto holders.
