University lecture tells students AI use is explicitly encouraged

Original: Heute an der Uni eine Vorlesung, wie man Seminar, Bachelor oder Masterarbeiten schreibt: Verwendung von KI wird ausdrück

A German university held a lecture on how to write seminar, bachelor's and master's theses, in which the use of AI was explicitly recommended rather than banned. The claim is being shared as a notable counterpoint to the many institutions that restrict or prohibit AI tools in academic writing, and it is fueling debate over how universities should handle artificial intelligence in student work.

Why now: Universities are divided on allowing AI in academic work, so an institution openly endorsing it stands out.
