Debate Over 'Tasees' and the New Sudan
Original: On “Tasees” and the New Sudan: A Response to Khalid Koodi
A new commentary piece responds to Khalid Koodi on the subject of 'Tasees' — the founding or establishment debate — and what it means for building a new Sudan. The exchange forms part of a wider public argument among Sudanese commentators over the political foundations of the country's future after the war. Details of the specific disagreements remain limited.
Why now: Sudanese commentators are actively debating the political foundations of a postwar Sudan.
