Original: Reporting from central Ukraine, FRANCE 24's Gulliver Cragg says that "a lot of Ukrainians are feeling extremely betrayed

FRANCE 24 correspondent Gulliver Cragg, reporting from central Ukraine, says many Ukrainians feel extremely betrayed by a country they long saw not only as an ally but as a beacon of freedom and democracy whose values they aspired to. The remarks reflect deep frustration in Ukraine over shifting Western support amid the ongoing war with Russia.

Why now: Ongoing debate over wavering Western, particularly American, support for Ukraine in its war with Russia.
