Burnham says RAF Fairford incident likely directed by Iran's Revolutionary Guard
Original: iraanse revolutionaire garde
Burnham stated that the incident at RAF Fairford was almost certainly directed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The claim ties a security incident at the British airbase in Gloucestershire directly to Tehran's elite military force, drawing attention to the IRGC's alleged activities on European soil and raising questions about the response from British authorities.
Why now: A UK official directly linking an incident at a British airbase to Iran's Revolutionary Guard is a significant geopolitical claim.
