Commenters on a science communication forum are arguing that Germany's Alternative für Deutschland functions as one element of a hybrid war against Germany and Europe, tying the claim to a broader discussion of how much climate denial is driven by Russian influence operations. The post links climate misinformation with the party's rhetoric, drawing modest engagement but reflecting a wider debate over foreign interference in European politics.
Why now: Ongoing concern about Russian disinformation and the AfD's role in spreading climate misinformation in Europe.
