Ohio Senate mailers for socialist candidate tied to MAGA vendor
Original: Mailers promoting a socialist candidate in Ohio Senate race have links to MAGA super PAC vendor
Mailers promoting a socialist candidate in Ohio's Senate race have been traced to a vendor with links to a pro-Trump super PAC, raising concerns about a false-flag effort to interfere in the Republican primary. Reports suggest outside groups may be boosting a rival they see as easier to defeat. The tactic echoes previous attempts to meddle in opposing parties' primaries.
Why now: The apparent attempt to manipulate an election through deceptive campaign mail is a serious allegation in a key Senate race.
