A student who communicates and spells by blinking has been refused the chance to sit an exam, according to a BBC News report. The story raises questions about exam accessibility and how assessment bodies accommodate pupils with severe physical disabilities, prompting discussion about inclusion in education and the rights of non-verbal students to demonstrate what they know.
Why now: The case touches on disability rights and exam fairness, issues that reliably spark public debate.
