Original: Show HN: An experimental pattern-first DAW that supports MCP

A developer has released Blokkily, an experimental pattern-first digital audio workstation that supports the Model Context Protocol, sharing the open-source project on Hacker News. The tool puts pattern-based composition at its core and lets AI assistants interact with the DAW through MCP. Commenters on the site are debating the pattern-first workflow and what AI integration could mean for music production.

Why now: New music software combining an unconventional pattern-first workflow with emerging MCP/AI integration naturally draws developer interest.
