ScareScore turns your heartbeat into a horror movie score
Original: ScareScore turns your heartbeat into a horror movie score. Here’s how it works
A new tool called ScareScore measures a viewer's heartbeat and uses that data to generate or adjust a horror movie's musical score in real time, so the soundtrack responds to the viewer's own fear. Interest centres on how the biometric feedback works and what it could mean for interactive, personalised horror viewing experiences.
Why now: The novelty of biometric technology personalising a film's soundtrack is drawing curiosity among horror and tech fans.
