Paxton Draws Attention Over Dubai New Year's Party
Original: Paxton's Dubai New Year's party
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is being discussed after reports of a New Year's party in Dubai. Critics questioned the optics of the Republican official celebrating the holiday abroad, while supporters dismissed the fuss as politically motivated outrage. The story is circulating widely on social media, with commentators debating whether the trip matters and what it says about Paxton's priorities and political future.
Why now: Ken Paxton remains a polarising political figure, so news of his Dubai New Year's party is drawing both mockery and defence from opposing camps.
