Brisbane 2032 Olympics chief Cindy Hook to step down

Original: Brisbane 2032 Olympics organising committee chief Cindy Hook to step down

Cindy Hook, the chief executive of the organising committee for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, is to step down from her role. Hook, a former Qantas andAccenture executive who has led the committee since its early planning stages, is departing with the Games still years away. Further details about the timing and her successor have not been confirmed.

Why now: A leadership change at the top of an Olympic organising committee months before the LA 2028 Games and with Brisbane 2032 planning under way naturally draws attention.
