Saracens sack academy forward Totoa Auvaa after nightclub incident
Original: totoa auvaa rugby player
Saracens have dismissed academy forward Totoa Auvaa following a nightclub fracas in which he was involved alongside England cricketers Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson. The club acted after what reports describe as a further incident, cutting ties with the young player entirely. Attention is focused on what exactly happened on the night and why the rugby club took so severe a disciplinary step toward one of its own academy prospects.
Why now: Saracens' decision to sack a young player over an altercation involving two high-profile England cricketers has made it a major cross-sport talking point.
