Artists taking part in the annual Inktober challenge are posting their illustrations for day 12, whose official prompt is 'toss'. The challenge runs through October, with a new one-word prompt each day, and participants share their ink drawings online under art community tags. Reactions are generally appreciative, with followers praising the variety of interpretations.
Why now: Inktober is happening now, and each day's new prompt gives artists fresh work to share and discuss.
