Fitbit Edge tracker draws attention as mid-range option

Original: fitbit edge tracker

The Fitbit Edge, a new tracker, is drawing coverage after Google search interest picked up in Canada and India. Coverage from CNET suggests the device may suit buyers who want some smartwatch features without committing to a full smartwatch, positioning it as a potential sweet spot between basic fitness bands and pricier wearable models.

Why now: Google released or is promoting the Fitbit Edge as a middle-ground wearable, prompting interest in whether it balances price and features.
