Claims Emerge That Adobe Source Code Was Leaked
Original: Adobe just got open-sourced against its will...
Commentary is circulating claiming that Adobe's software has effectively been open-sourced against the company's will, suggesting internal source code made its way into public hands without authorisation. Adobe has not been confirmed as commenting on the claim in the available material, and the exact scope of any exposure remains unstated. Developers are weighing in on what such a leak would mean for the company's proprietary products.
Why now: A claimed unauthorised release of Adobe source code would be a major security and business story for the software industry.
