Attention is building around the 2026 Diagonale des Fous, the legendary ultra-trail across Réunion. Former cycling champion Mélissandre Pain announced a new challenge by entering the race, while Judicaël Sautron, three times the top Réunionnais finisher, says he aims not just to finish but to perform and represent the island. Organisers also confirmed the trail between Roche Plate and la Brèche reopens Tuesday, weather permitting.
