Warnings mount that rising tensions could end badly
Original: If nothing calms down. All this will end badly.
A warning circulating in France states plainly that if nothing calms down, 'all this will end badly.' The message does not name a specific event, but its wording suggests alarm over escalating tensions of some kind. It has drawn significant engagement, with many people apparently sharing the sentiment that the current situation is heading toward a bad outcome without de-escalation.
Why now: People are echoing a warning that current tensions, whatever their source, are escalating toward a crisis.
