Bauers' 12-pitch walk against Yamamoto flips Brewers game

Original: An ace's undoing: Bauers' 12-pitch walk vs. Yamamoto 'changes the game' for Crew

Brewers hitter Jake Bauers worked a 12-pitch walk off Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a grinding at-bat that Milwaukee players and coaches said 'changed the game' in their favor. Forcing the starter deep into a count early drained pitch efficiency and shifted momentum, with the at-bat being praised as a example of patience paying off against elite pitching.

Why now: An unusually long at-bat against a star pitcher decided the game's momentum, making it a talking point among baseball fans.
