QuiénEsLaMáscara US premiere sparks spoiler complaints in Mexico
Original: Watching #QuiénEsLaMáscara in Mexico again means watching it with spoilers. TelevisaUnivision's mistake of premiering it
TelevisaUnivision is facing criticism after premiering the new season of QuiénEsLaMáscara in the United States before Mexico. Viewers in Mexico say watching the show at home now means encountering spoilers first, as results and masked celebrity identities circulate on social media ahead of the Mexican broadcast. Fans are questioning the network's decision to air the program out of order across the two countries.
Why now: The US-first broadcast schedule means Mexican fans are seeing leaks and spoilers online before episodes air locally.
