PSOE pushes useful vote strategy in small constituencies
Original: montse mínguez
Spain's Socialist Party (PSOE) is urging supporters in smaller constituencies to cast a "useful vote" so that ballots for the left do not end up "wasted", according to Europa Press. The appeal comes amid discussion of how Spain's electoral system can fragment the left vote in provinces with few seats. Montse Mínguez is among the names drawing attention in coverage of the story.
Why now: Election-related strategy in Spain is prompting debate over vote splitting among left-wing parties.
