The Toronto Raptors have signed 7-foot-5 center Jamerion Sharp, reported to be the NBA's tallest player, to a two-way contract. Sharp had agreed to a two-way deal with the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this summer before being released. To make room on the roster, Toronto waived Chucky Hepburn, adding an unusually tall prospect to their frontcourt.
Why now: Sharp's exceptional 7-foot-5 height and his unexpected switch from the Clippers to the Raptors are drawing basketball fans' attention.
